Disaster In The Making

When Russia's President Putin recently stated we are ready for Nuclear War in response to what the US in aiding Ukraine sets the stage for the most catastrophic calamity not seen since the end of the dinosaurs. Apparently, we haven't learned anything when we send military aid, and Billions of taxpayers' dollars that could be used to improve everyone's, quality of life. But no, our government continues to provoke other nations to respond with retaliatory responses like what President Putin is saying today.

General MacArthur was right all along. But ever since the end of World War II all the US has done is waste trillions of dollars and thousands of American lives lost just because we stick our nose in other countries without the slightest regard for the citizens of the world. We have put the rest of the world on the edge of Armageddon.

As the warning from President Putin stated the world is hurdling toward that final climax. Will humanity survive, or will the world be obliterated in a blink of an eye? We have failed to really understand the consequence of a cataclysmic chain of events that would ultimately lead to one using Weapons of Mass destruction.

Sure, there have been movies that depict such a scenario such as Threads, The Day After. and there are move but that is Hollywood. We have to understand the consequences of our actions, our political policies and our rhetoric that keeps fueling the flames of retaliatory responses. Responses that have come from other nations that would determine whether we survive or not.

The world today is a tinder box waiting for someone to light the fuse that would send the whole globe in flames of terror and destruction. Remember might is not always right. What the world needs right now is restraint and diplomacy especially from the United States. All we have been doing is fueling the flames of reactionary retaliatory responses that would be the catalyst for events that would very well set the world on fire.

And to think you’re old enough to remember the Cuban missle crisis and Able Archer.

I’m sure your KGB handler is very impressed.
