A student teacher in my 8th grade English class whispered this to me. She said bankers were behind the wars starting and it profited them and big corporations who were suppliers of goods needed for wars.
@cherokeepatti I had a teacher in high school that firmly believed that LBJ was directly behind Kennedy's assassination, because the majority of the military industrial corporations are based in Texas, Johnson's home state, that it was no coincidence that JFK was taken out in Dallas, and that LBJ set up the lie about the Gulf of Tonkin within six months of taking office. He also found interesting to note that Texas federal judge Sarah T. Hughes, who swore Johnson to the presidency, was also a personal friend to the Johnson family. One month before Kennedy was killed he said he was pulling out all of the military advisors that were in Vietnam, that he wanted nothing to do with the mess in that country.

@NativePortlander1970 My uncle & his cousin who lived in Texas believed it too. There is a hive of these people who wanted JFK out. I believe that when he made that speech about a conspiracy controlling the world and said he was planning on replacing the American fiat monetary system with a gold-and-silver backed one that the final straw for the cabal. A woman who looked like a young Rothschild, dubbed the “Babushka woman” (Barroness Philipine de Rothschild) stood and witnessed the assassination and was photographed.
@cherokeepatti Babushka woman? That's one I hadn't heard before.
Butler was critical of US wars; he didn't discuss foreign ones. I'm not sure he would have agreed with you about Ukraine. Butler wrote "War is a Racket" in 1935, before World War Two. I think he also would have approved of the US fighting to stop the advance of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. His main beef was with World War One, which was nothing more than a meat grinder, and the various American colonial wars.

Regardless, Putin started this war. He could end it tomorrow. Saying anyone else is responsible is like the man beating his wife while yelling "look what you make me do!"
Rebuilding a Country wrecked by a Russian madman, how dare they 😱

I am in the right industry.
