Strong image. He looks determined, wanting to give something towards. You know what his determination met, well at least, in how it brought it upon your family and all you value.

@bijouxbroussard Interesting, thank you. These are the parts photographs can't always tell. But his eyes appear bright, determined, wanting to give something. Those parts are telling in photograph.

@bijouxbroussard Reminds me, differently, I have an image of my great-great-great grandfather, my family has always loved photography, so I have a photo in hand of mine (figuratively), from the late 1800s I once scanned, my computer erased it all once, but I should spend the time to bring it back to this world, for others, as those time prints can matter so much, no matter race, culture, and I know somewhere I have his.

@SW-User I found it, has nothing to do with African American, of course, but I sometimes think imprints of time matter, I can't judge him, and there is nothing to judge from photograph, may I share?
