My husband's cousin is doing well in the army! ๐ ๐
It's been two months since the recruiters captured him, and he was finally able to contact my husband the other day. The camp which the recruiters initially placed him in, was dreadful, he said. He only had the clothes that he arrived in, and slept outside in freezing temperatures. They took his phone, and the experience was generally very chaotic. He told as many people as he could, that he had a background in programming, and was eventually transferred to a drone operator unit. He got his pone back, and is now learning about drone piloting. Despite occasional bombings, he is fairly safe there, and we no longer have to fear the worst. I'm afraid that my husband would be less lucky, should he get captured too, as he only worked for one month as a programmer oficially, and never picked up his diploma from university. My husband and his cousin are both some of the kindest people I have ever met, and although I wish an end to this war more than anything in the world, I imagine that operating drones will be an interesting job.
