You are right. The raw earth minerals are in the regions that are currently under Russian control. So, what are we getting? Virtually nothing.

@Jokersswild honestly the only thing I can think of is the plan is to indebt Ukraine, then demand payment in a way that empowers Russia. That would be a deal that Russia would have approved for Trump
