My husband's cousin was drafted yesterday 😔

His wife asked him to pick up their son from the kindergarten, because she was scared of some dogs nearby. It was a relatively safe day, but when he got out of the car, recruiters from a normal looking car nearby took him.

It makes no sense to recruit people like him. He's a chubby and shy guy who plays video games all day, and wears anime T-shirts. He was always in the family business of trading on the market, and trading online during the war, since it was no longer safe for men to trade on the market. He is such a sweet and soft person, who could never be violent. He is always overly polite, even with people that he's close with.

I am so angry and tired of this nonsense. It is not enough that Russia is attacking us, we have also been confined to our homes by Ukrainian recruiters. No one wants this. Ukrainian veterans are the most angry, as they ask what they fought for in the first place, if all their friends and family will die like this now anyways. The people who get recruited keep getting lung inflammation, because they sleep outside in their clothes. The Ukrainian army does not have anything to offer the people they recruit, not even a sleeping bag.
