Iran retaliates against Israel

There is an old saying, "When you mess with the bull you get the horns". Sad to say this entire war is all about a very corrupt Israeli prime minister keeping a war going so he doesn't wind up in jail.

Whereas I condemn Israel's excessive, disproportionate bombing of Gaza, I would be very careful about cheering on a radical Islamic Country, attacking an area close to God's heart and having a huge part in end times prophecy.

@BritishFailedAesthetic Sorry to break that bubble for you but God left that region 2000 years ago. His is the whole world. If you read Josephus you will get a much better understanding that the millennial reign of Christ began in 33 AD. The Jewish temple was destroyed and the old covenant between the Jews and God was abolished. The New Testament makes that very clear.
@hippyjoe1955 It's true and I am aware Israel refers to the body of Christian believers and not the Country but I am cautious in this area.
@hippyjoe1955 I'm not on the level of a certain individual here who doesn't tolerate games- she actually says that if you criticise Israel you will be in trouble with God.

I am not her.

@BritishFailedAesthetic Yeah don't be too cautious. Calling evil good and good evil is a dangerous game to play. God is not mocked. Israel as we now know it is a creation of the Rothschilds who began moving Jews into the area in the 1840s. Only Jews were allowed. No Christians and in fact the many Christians that were native to the area were driven out so only the Muslims remained. Israel is not an instrument of God. It is evil and should be removed from the nations of the world. If you are Jewish and want to practice your religion then so be it. However your religion does not get to rule a nation and subjugate all other religions in that nation.

@BritishFailedAesthetic You are a very smart man. Israel is not of God. It ceased its priestly role with the completion of the perfect sacrifice.
@hippyjoe1955 Yes, individuals like the one I mentioned clearly haven't got the implication of the curtain being torn in two.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic They have no idea that the true Temple is the Body of Christ. His undergarment that was not torn had the same weave as the temple curtain that was torn. The blood and water that gushed from His side was emblematic of the cleansing of the temple after the sacrifice had been made when the priests would open a side door and wash the blood out of the temple with lots of water.
@hippyjoe1955 Yes. One thing that came to mind though- God has not left Israel- the gospel is very much alive there and He is working!
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic Israel is the Body of believers not those who have Abraham's genes. Romans 9 makes that clear. the Israel of the old covenant is a foreshadowing of the Reign of Christ in the New Covenant.
@hippyjoe1955 I meant God has not left the modern day country of Israel.

@hippyjoe1955 As in no matter what you think of the Country, there are saved believers there.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic Yes and those folks are Christians and not Jews. They may be messianic Jews or completed Jews but we would know them as fellow believers in Jesus Christ. There is no other way to Salvation.
