Iran retaliates against Israel

There is an old saying, "When you mess with the bull you get the horns". Sad to say this entire war is all about a very corrupt Israeli prime minister keeping a war going so he doesn't wind up in jail.

I keep forgetting what Iran's beef is with Israel. It's not just a whole lot of virtue signaling to the rest of the Islamic world, is it?

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Israel has attacked Iran several times. The last time a few weeks ago when Israel bombed and Iranian embassy. That is something that simply is not done in polite company.
@hippyjoe1955 Iran was funding Hezbollah well before that. I can never remember why

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP The feud between Israel and Iran began after the Iranian revolution, when the pro-Western Pahlavi dynasty was overthrown and replaced with an anti-Western Islamic theocracy. Iran's issue is that Muslim people have been displaced from what they see as Muslim land. Israel has also been highly provocative in the Middle East.

@badlands Had the US not interfered in Iran in the early 50s Iran would be a very different place. Of course Israel as a state has no cause to exist except by UN decree. The Israel we see today is not the Israel of the Bible. It is a demonic creation by the Rothschild family who started putting Jews into Palestine in the 1840s. Sadly Palestine was a mainly Christian area that became Jewish/Muslim as the Christians all left.
@badlands Right, so even though Iran and Israel don't even share a border, somehow they manage to have the greatest amount to prove. Why aren't Israel's closer neighbours making as much of a fuss?

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Iran is an Islamic theocracy with an interest in other Muslims. There are two options in the Middle East and surrounding areas: be pro-Western or anti-Western. I recently saw that some holiday resorts ban the hijab in Egypt, and there was similar in Iran prior to 1979. Iran wants nothing to do with Israel and wants this land to be Muslim.
