Have there actually been any demands publicized over ISIS attacks in Moscow? Isn't it weird to launch a major operation and not make it clear what

they want to achieve?

There are alot of things that just don't add up. I mean for groups like ISIS it is just about creating chaos and terror and killing "infidels".

But the foot soldiers are also fanatics and well trained and see themselves as holy warriors and becoming a martyr is part of the entire point.

But these people appear to have been paid....which is really weird, they were pretty amateurish and apparently the fire killed most of the victims not the gunmen.

Post soviet Russia has a bad track record with fire safety so it is actually quite possible this would have been the same result if it had just been an arson.

Also they fled towards Ukraine. Which however you feel about either country it is really weird that criminals would flee towards a warzone unless they had contacts in said area.

They also surrendered which is also a huge red flag. Again with Islamic terrorists martyrdom is the point so this also doesn't add up.
