Do you agree to

Anything that doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
Whose original dialogue was that though?
Northwest · M
Nietzsche, a piece of shit, who inspired the likes of Hitler and Liddy, is still quoted.

No, what does not kill you, does not make you stronger, as a general rule. It could also disable you for life.
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@Northwest I have heard this phrase many times.
ServantOfTheGoddess · 61-69, M
"Aus der Kriegsschule des Lebens. — Was mich nicht umbringt, macht mich stärker." Friedrich Nietzsche.

In my experience it doesn't always work though.
Magenta · F
No, it's nonsense, like the majority of cliché's are.
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@Magenta I think I heard this in one of the Kayne west's song
Magenta · F
@TheOrionbeltseeker I don't listen to his music. But it's been around longer than that I believe.
Gloomy · F
It's used as a desperate attempt to make sense and to find some use in hardships but in general it's not true.
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
It’s definitely not true
Lostpoet · M
