A little home-truth about Crimean war 2.0

from a news report today abou the alleged deliberate interference on a US military drone by Russia, comes a little bit of truth that all the pro-war anti-Russians conveniently ignore...

"by providing weapons to Ukraine and sharing intelligence information with Kyiv, the US and its allies have effectively become engaged in the war, which is now in its 13th month."

ie. the US, and countries like the UK and Australia, are effectively now 'at war' with the Russia by overtly supporting Ukraine.

So?... We did lend-lease with Britain in the 1940's.

That helped prop Britain so it would not fall. Once one the Axis Powers attacked us, we went pedal to the metal.
Too bad the residents in Crimea don't get the right to vote, instead. War instead of democracy is the Americans choice. Nobody can do a thing about it.

So, they should stop standing in Putin's way, so he can complete his takeover of the Ukraine, and then march on to Poland.

Baloney but were it true I'd rather be fighting russia now instead of after they dominate most or all of Europe

This is just a really stupid lie.

@butterflybaby75 thats not what a war is. What the hell is a 'war partner'? are you committed to just making up shit, the way your Patron does? Supplying arms to another country is allowing them to fight, not being part of a war themselves. I refer you to ... oh, every war I can think of in the last century.

@firefall It's no different to the UK and Australia 'joining' the USA during the fake 'war on terror' in Iraq in 2003 following the Sep 11 2001 biz. Australia and the UK are not part of the USA so shouldn't be joining up to the war effort(s) unless Australia and the UK are being *directly* threatened by one of the waring parties.

@butterflybaby75 so on your logic, Iran has also joined the war by supplying Russia with weaponry and supporting equipment?!

I’d prefer more direct American involvement, anyway.

And the Soviets were really flying some of the planes during the Korean War, what's your point?
