It had to be done

While not the biggest or most powerful wheely boi in the War Thunder ecosystem, the Sd.Kfz. 234/2(Puma), an armored car that saw service in WW2, can take full advantage of its own maneuverability and flank unsuspecting enemies. Modern vehicles that inhabit top tier must not take the Puma lightly. Its 50 mm KwK.39/1 cannon can penetrate 100 millimeters of steel in close quarters combat with the PzGr 39 shell; up to 130 mm of steel when using the PzGr 40 shell

Fully grown tanks that make up the backbone of former Soviet/Russian and NATO forces today, such as T-72s and T-80s for the former and Abraham and Leopard 2 tanks for the latter, need to keep a close eye on any small and fast moving vehicle that attempts to infiltrate their ranks. A Puma is capable of penetrating the sides or rear of said tanks, disabling modules, killing crew, or destroying the tank outright.

The Centauro, a modern Italian wheely boi, took no chances upon confronting a Puma in the wild. The B1 Centauro trades survivability for maneuverability, as does the aforementioned entity. Even from the front, it is extremely vulnerable to the 50mm gun the Puma is in possession of.
