Does anyone else think the Russian failures at the start of the war unlikely to be due to miscalculation alone?

Even if it was expected they would just capture the capitol in days, why would they have tanks without infantry support, could they really have been that stupid?

This invasion has proved to be a gold mine of intelligence for the West in terms of Russian preparedness, and how they have obviously been relying on the sleight of hand and image making to mask their ineptitude, and poor training while relying on vintage tanks and equipment. They were totally unprepared for a much better fighting force in the form of the Ukrainians.
With these glaring miscalculations now exposed, any individual(s) with a modicum of intelligence could not help but ask the question....."if Russia's military is THAT outdated and poorly trained and equipped....where has all that money gone.....in terms of billions. I could only opine with one word. "Oligarch." It would appear that their collective arses have now been exposed. While they swim in champagne, caviar, yachts, and villas, the common Soviet, ever loyal to the Mother Land, suffers and sacrifices, paying in like the dedicated mind bent souls that they are to their communist ideals that have drown them in propaganda since they were born.
It's so sad......time for a new revolution.
