I Hate War
"Individuals have rights, and there are things no person or group may do to them (without violating their rights)”
Veterans Day is coming up and I am proud of them giving their life to serve what they believe is correct.
Thing is, the U.S. has been at war the 223 out of 240 years it has been in existence. That is about 93% of the time. While some wars were needed, many were completely useless. We spend so much on these wars that it has become a drug habit for the U.S.
When are we going to realize that neither party cares about this. Not one congressman/woman running has had an anti-war campaign. Mostly about Trump which is running on the fear of the voters rather than actual policies.
I would love for a day where the Congress can actually take action and deal with this issue.
I believe that the U.S. may not threaten or commit violence against another countries's person or property. We should act defensively against the aggressive violence of another. In other words, no violence may be employed against a nonaggressor.
We have been on the offensive for years and it's time we need to stop. There is no need for all this.
