@Driver2 One thing. They have committed a crime. They need to be arrested and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. It's called DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY.
Since they aren't actually damaging the paintings, eh, big deal. Kinda bad optics, but it certainly grabs attention and they seem able to capitalize on that with meaningful follow-ups.
@Nexus it was an oil painting but that painting isn’t harming anyone I know they were trying to make a point but that form of protest wasn’t the brightest
Yes, but only because it is not having the desired effect. They are pissing off people who are sympathetic to the cause while having no effect at all on the people in power.
@Nexus those two girls, look like they belong to some abstract modern art exhibition. Like on that image, it looks as though if they were wax figures or something, you know, they could be made into an abstract "art" piece themselves.
I meant to say that with how funny/uninteresting many abstract art pieces are nowadays, this could be deemed art and I wouldn't be surprised
Jail them and make it known to their ilk that until sufficient compensation is raised to restore/repair the damage done, these vandals will remain jailed.
