Wish us luck!

As an Iranian, I was always ashamed of my nationality and tried to cover it up. But for the first time, I'm proud that we are now standing against the totalitarian regime. Please be our voice and wish us luck! May these dark days end and the sun shine upon us again.

You have my heart. Your history is ancient, and full of wonderful mysteries. My prayer for you all is that, you eradicate these Supreme Leaders and their chaff, and in it's place, a governing board of individuals comes to reign who both have, and represent, the best interests of your every day people . That would be my prayer for you.
Don't get discouraged.....try to be that change.
WonderfulOne · 22-25, F
@Freeranger Thank you! We all wish that this may happen very soon. All my life I was thinking of immigration and I know that a lot of Iranian my age do, but for the first time in forever I actually have hope for the future of my country and wish to stay so I could help building the future it deserves.

Righteous Indignation is a good motivator for change. The hypocrites in power shouldn’t be touching the women they are accusing of immodesty, much less jailing them for not covering their hair. They need to work on their own self-control in regard to lusting after women. I hope your country is free again and that the people in power will get their priorities right.
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
Now that is pure courage, pure defiance at something that has been choking women for a long time. Unlike feminists in the 1st world who yell their lungs out when they know they're not supposed to get hurt and no one will kill them, these girls don't have such a guarantee yet they still persist. That's real power.

But those bastards stopping the internet there so they can commit horrible acts of brutality with no one to show the world, that's low, so very low.

The protests mut be so massive that they cannot be put down.
I hope regime change may occur with minimal loss of life or injury.
WonderfulOne · 22-25, F
@laotzu92 yeah, it's nothing like before. There were protests over election or gas price and else, but this one... it's for our very basic rights! The regime lost it's base among people over time, but many have no faith that we could change it.
I follow Iran because I have Iranian friends. I have been hoping you flip your government for some years. Best of luck. I wish my society’s media would cover this.

Good luck in confronting that evil that Obama and now Biden give passes to. I wish we could help you, but we are experiencing our own evil here right now.
1490wayb · 56-60, M
you have much to be proud of being persian with a rich history for thousands of years
Northwest · M
Good luck. In 2019, the tally was 1,500 dead, and back to square 1. The Iranian people deserve better than the Mullahs regime they have today. At a minimum, they should be reaping the benefits of their natural resources, instead of wasting it all on wars in Lebanon, Syria and Yemen.
WonderfulOne · 22-25, F
@Northwest I'm glad that you know they killed 1500 of our people. They killed even more because they didn't get the Covid vaccine on time and they hide the actual number. Our people divided all over the world because of these monsters. They kill us, they rob us, and they laugh at us. We are so tired.

My doctor is Iranian - lovely man. Says God Bless You every time you leave office.

He is in an area with many Persians. I often see some strikingly beautiful women merely sitting in the waiting room
eMortal · M
You wanna hear something strange. I have some persian friends. Every time one of then tells me their make a short trip to Iran, I’m mortified. They seem relax about it, but I can’t help but think they may not come back. It had happened once. One them got arrested at the airport because he’s never done military service.
WonderfulOne · 22-25, F
@eMortal and the fact that IRGC shot down the Flight 752... that's even worse than getting arrested for not having done military service.
FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
You're in my prayers. Hope for you the best
WonderfulOne · 22-25, F
@FreestyleArt Thx❤️

I'm always aware of good stuff and bad stuff in every nation.
But Death to America has a nice ring to it.

@Roundandroundwego 🤔

Naughty!
Slade · 56-60, M
WonderfulOne · 22-25, F
@Roundandroundwego There is about 10 million people who still support the regime and say such things. The other 70 million have nothing to do with them.
Human1000 · M
Don’t be ashamed. I know many Persians and no one judges them for the regime in Iran.
WonderfulOne · 22-25, F
@Human1000 yeah well, some people may think of us as terrorists. Our leaders support terrorism, but we don't. "Woman, life, freedom" is all we ask for our future.

There is so much love for the Iranian people around the world.

Especially right now.

May we not be blind to true heroes and true courage and real issues.

We know that the regime is a violent and oppressive blight on a generous and beautiful people and culture, with a deep and ancient history

My heart is with you all.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
Wishing you the best of luck! I hope some progress for women's autonomy is made without too much bloodshed.
WonderfulOne · 22-25, F
@ViciDraco Thx! We know for a fact that the changes we want would never happen as a reform, so we wish that we could change the regime. It'll fuck everything, but IR regime have proved over and over that it's not reformable.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@WonderfulOne change can be slow and human rights battles challenging, even in places that proclaim to be the most free.

But time does have a tendency to favor progress and from what i hear the younger generations of Iranians generally support the right of choice.
