Tax dollars to provide weapons of war.......

my tax dollars are going to provide Ukraine with 142 155mm Howitzers and up to 810,000 155mm artillery rounds;
2,500 precision-guided 155mm artillery rounds;
1,000 155mm rounds of Remote Anti-Armor Mine (RAAM) Systems;
36 105mm Howitzers and 180,000 105mm artillery rounds;
126 Tactical Vehicles to tow 155mm Howitzers;
22 Tactical Vehicles to recover equipment;
20 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems and ammunition;
20 120mm mortar systems and 115,000 rounds of 120mm mortar rounds;
1,500 Tube-Launched, Optically-Tracked, Wire-Guided (TOW) missiles;
Four Command Post vehicles;
Eight National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS) and munitions;
High-speed Anti-radiation missiles (HARMs);
20 Mi-17 helicopters;
etc etc etc.

I hope Ukraine makes the most of my tax dollars and makes good use of what we are sending over to defeat Russia
Military industrial complex seems to be doing well. I wonder how much of the $40-$50 billion of our tax dollars paid for this vs. how much ends up in the pockets of corrupt Ukranian oligarchs?

Do you remember back in the day when we had a 600 ship Navy? That was in the 80s and didn’t come cheap. We did that with the Soviet Union as our first consideration. we went from $100 billion dollar deficit to a couple of trillion with Ronnie and the deficit ballooned further with Bush 41 to several trillion more. This is in 1980s dollars.
What was listed is chump change compared to anything spent before to meddle in Russia’s business.
At least there weren’t any closed door meetings like the previous indicted President.

I'm against it, it's illegal and it's corruption.
@Roundandroundwego It's not a proxy war. NATO is not present, and Zelensky is ready to negotiate Putin's surrender anytime. It's very telling that you're ignoring Putin's invasion of a sovereign country which is also illegal.
@LeopoldBloom Antony Blinkin said it was a proxy war. Isn't he a US spokesman,?
@Roundandroundwego Please provide a citation for your claim that Blinken said that. All I can find is a statement by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin in April after a meeting with Zelensky that "“our focus in the meeting was to talk about those things that would enable us to win the current fight and also build for tomorrow.” His use of "us" in reference to the "current fight" was taken by some people to imply that the U.S. is a partner in the conflict and therefore engaged in a "proxy war." In other words, based on a pronoun. If you can find a better quote, please share it.

Also, under what authority are proxy wars illegal? I've looked and I can't find anything. The US provides military aid to Saudi Arabia, Israel, and many other countries - are we engaged in a "proxy war" whenever any of them engage in hostilities?

Okay for me BUT NOT FOR THEE

NOTHING TO SEE HERE China, Russia, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Taliban, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Venezuela,

The WMDs America is now GIVING to UKRAINE are NOT REAL WMDs they are just stage props salvaged from hollyweird - just ask Oprah that Obama wanted to send to try and scare Putin out of Ukraine thats why they say danger these WMDS when ignited will cause a Radiation event. But they are not real WMDs are you kidding those things are still totally illegal when they are meant for us ..

The military aid we’ve sent, may help on the ground. The Russians are using missiles and aircraft against civilian targets.

If the mothers of the world got together there would be no more war…

How much did you actually pay last year?
It wouldn’t be the first time. Hopefully this time we’re not sending weapons to the other side as well. 😐
