I am done arguing with fake news and lies made or parroted by certain members on SW.

I will not argue, but, to provide facts and truth, I will post proven facts.

If that bothers you, then don't read my posts.

Also, I couldn't care less if the truth bothers you.

If you come on my post and are not civil, post fake news or otherwise lie, I will delete your comment.

If it continues, I will close the post to comments.

I was told by one of those "certain members" that Facts and Truth are left wing propaganda. Good luck.

@trollslayer that tells you all you need to know about that person.
@trollslayer i saw someone comment a few days ago that fact checking is fake news.
Facts and Truth have gone over a cliff like Thelma and Louise. I don't know if things will ever go back to any sense of normalcy.

@robingoodfellow "Fake news" once had a definition of news that was an intentional lie for purposes of misleading. It didn't include news that had the typical "political slant/bias". The focus was mostly on international actors or domestic troublemakers like Alex Jones.

Back in 2016, the focus came on right-leaning "fake news" because the majority of it was intentional lies to support the Trump campaign, without saying that the Trump campaign was involved in the creation of such fake news. MAGA folks took offense and bastardized the term and now use it to describe any news they disagree with or any news that has the typical political slant against their cause.

FYI, I was social media free until the summer of 2016, when I broke down and joined Facebook in order to keep in touch with family as that was the only way they communicated anymore. The political posts being shared at the time were a big shock to me. One of the first ones I saw was a post showing a large concrete wall traversing a desert, with the caption that this was the wall along Mexico's southern border, and if Mexico has such a wall, why can't we? My BS meter went through the roof because I know the southern border of Mexico is not in a desert! There is no wall there. Barely a chain link fence, and Google Earth can easily confirm this. Yet, this post had been shared and liked tens of thousands of times! I immediately wondered who was creating and spreading this stuff - and about two weeks later we started hearing about "fake news" and "Russian Troll Farms".
