It’s fake or exaggerated. People are sowing fear to manipulate electorates. And fear is one of the strongest manipulators, after greed of course.

They are untrue racist comments that have happened in Europe for generations. The same was said about the Jews prior to WWII.

It is fake news. I live in UK and can assure you that we are not being invaded.

It is fake and it is fear mongering. That is all the right wing has in their playbook.

The correct response is facts, evidence, and then giving them the ridicule they’ve earned.

People around the world have been migrating to other countries. THAT part is true. I would not call it an invasion (not a war) but migration from 3rd world countries or dictatorships is probably at an all time high—a real problem not just in the US. Haven’t you heard about ships full of immigrants being pushed back? Or not rescued? I don’t know how much migration can be tolerated before they overburden the economy in different countries. It’s not an issue of race, but of survival.

War on immigrants is that easy - just keep saying you're being invaded until you can kill people who dare to show up. That's how you kill democracy and keep war alive!

Moreover, the very idea of borders, nation states, and derivative arbitrariness is itself complete nonsense ... do you think the atmosphere respects "national borders" drawn by a minority species only recently in the scale of Earth's actual billions of years of existence? Earth is one planet, not 300 planets, with all the big picture ramifications a shared host entails.
