On everything and anything being labelled "fake news", "conspiracy theories", "offensive" etc if it goes against the day's narrative

Even just basic historical facts or things we know to be true based on basic observation:

It's intended that way. If "they" overwhelm us with opposing ideas, we become confused as to what the truth really is, causing us to just resolve to do nothing and accept the idea that there is nothing we can do to change things. Basically it's a weakening tactic.
