Should Similar Worlds take its cue from Facebook with regards to intentional misinformation?

I speak specifically with regards to COVID-19. I do not care if others choose to support the lie that the election was rigged. That is a political debate, not a health hazard. However, there are those who choose to perpetuate lies that will allow COVID-19 to proliferate and mutate in the bodies of the gullible for years to come, should they follow the advice of certain users. Does that not constitute a risk to the lives of the general public? I consider it to be even worse than shouting "Fire!" in a crowded theater.

So you jumped into your time machine for a peek 10 years into the future and know for certain the gene therapy treatments for Covid19 have no side effects?
@stratosranger And what if I said yes?

Don't bother answering. What you have posted is a closed question, often referred to as a rhetorical question. It is also absurd, indicating that you are attacking a straw man, rather than addressing the reality of the situation.
@CorvusBlackthorne A vaccine prevents a person from contracting a virus and prevents a person from spreading a virus. The mRNA so-called vaccines DO NEITHER OF THESE THINGS. And before you say “it reduces symptoms,” so does Tylenol.
@stratosranger
A vaccine prevents a person from contracting a virus...
That is a lie on the face of it. A vaccine trains your immune system to better fight off infection in the event of contracting the disease. Do please do a modicum of research before speaking.
Let’s review. I have been immunized against a dozen different types of viruses. And they provide 99% immunity. I have never CONTRACTED nor SPREAD the viruses I was immunized against. That’s the basis of what an immunization is. It’s not my fault if you can’t figure that out or are in denial as to what a REAL immunization is. AND they were all quite thoroughly tested before being released to the public. The mRNA “vaccines” fail on all three of those counts. These are facts. If you want to spread misinformation, maybe you should be banned. 😏 @CorvusBlackthorne
@stratosranger Your anecdotal "evidence" does not change the facts. Vaccines train your body to fight off infection. Some are more effective than others. However, they all depend on your immune system learning how to fight the infection, and also on others getting vaccinated, so the virus does not have host bodies in which to mutate.

Get back to me when you have perused the following article.
https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/hcp/conversations/understanding-vacc-work.html
Vaccines 101

The basic mechanism by which vaccines work is simple: Vaccines create immunity in an individual by introducing a weakened or killed form of the pathogen that make us ill – such as bacteria or viruses – or its toxins or one of its surface proteins. The vaccine induces acquired immunity so that when your body encounters the real disease-causing agent it is ready to mount a defense.

There is a collective social benefit in a high vaccination coverage. For most diseases, the greater the proportion of people who are immunized, the better protected is everyone in the population as the disease transmission can be reduced or stopped. Herd immunity is a community protection that is created when a high percentage of the population is vaccinated, such that it less likely that the infectious disease spreads.

Now stop spreading disinformation or you will be reported
@CorvusBlackthorne
@stratosranger I don't know what you think you are playing at. The mRNA vaccine functions quite similarly to traditional vaccines, in that it trains the immune system. The difference is, rather than using a weakened form of the virus, which could be quite risky in the case of COVID-19, it disguises innocent body cells by causing them to emit a "spike" identical to that of COVID-19.

As you appear to be quite well informed with regards to immunization and herd immunity, I don't quite know why we are arguing.
And according to the CDC you can still CONTRACT and SPREAD Covid19 when “immunized” with the mRNA “vaccine.” Are you really this dense? @CorvusBlackthorne
@stratosranger Are you? One can still contract influenza after getting a booster shot, but the chances of doing so are lowered. This is hardly news to anyone who has been paying attention for the past four decades.

Besides, if you do not wish to receive the Moderna vaccine because of the mRNA element, there are numerous other vaccines from which to choose. I understand that Pfizer has put out a rather effective vaccine, or if you wish to skip the second dose, there is always Johnson & Johnson.
An influenza shot is NOT A VACCINE. Wow. Nice try but no dice.

COVID-19 vaccines are effective at preventing infection, serious illness, and death. Most people who get COVID-19 are unvaccinated. However, since vaccines are not 100% effective at preventing infection, some people who are fully vaccinated will still get COVID-19.

@CorvusBlackthorne
@stratosranger If all you are going to do is move the goal posts, and lie about well known facts, then I shall take my leave.
You concede? Good. Get lost. @CorvusBlackthorne
