1. Gas prices are indeed coming down nationwide

2. Gas is significantly more expensive in Blue states than Red states.

3. Trump is not responsible; in fact, his tariffs are threatening to reverse the downward trend.

That is not going to happen until oil reaches $90 or more per barrel because it is not profitable to drill until then.

@Livingwell Total tax burden of $1.27-$1.32 per gallon isn't bad? Enjoy your blue state gasoline taxes in Oregon. We're paying $2.55/gal in TX. Several major news outlets including ABC, NBC and CNN reported that gas prices are at a 4 year low.

Reuters reported that CEOs of Canadian oil and gas producers said on Tuesday they are seeking to avoid making abrupt decisions as global oil prices hover around four-year lows and recession fears grow.
Yea, doing a wonderful job of messing everything up, but lower gas prices are certainly welcome.
