Here you go Brits. Home fuel bills up £100

Ofgem, the body that supposedly regulates the privatised energy industry in the UK has just announced that winter fuel bills are rising by around £100.

Due to the rise in wholesale energy prices.

So all that guff yesterday by the Chancellor and the Prime Minister patting themselves on the back for not cutting pensions or benefits despite the 'tough economic outlook' was probably because they knew this was coming

They should put the energy companies in public hands and invest more in renewable energy.

@BritishFailedAesthetic Energy de-regulation is probably THE straw that 'broke the Camel's back' for many of us 'Gen.-Xers' with regard to supporting the Conservative party.
It's never worked as they told us it should but they keep saying the same thing in support of it.
