When I was a teen my brother used to take the word "love" out of a song and replace it with "drugs'

Example: "I'm all out of drugs I'm so lost without you"
"What the world needs now is drugs sweet drugs"
Rather stupid past time, but we'd all crack up about it...
(None of us was taking drugs)
There was no internet in the 1980s...
Entertainment was limited...

@DragonFruit I was 9 my musical taste was limited at the time.
I remember Sonny and Cher show and Donnie and Marie Osmond show.
I had a little girl crush on Donnie.
I thought Sonny was funny on that show.
I like to think my musical taste has evolved
since then...lol

We sang songs about diarrhoea. When it comes out thick and frothy and looks just like coffee .. diarrhoea.... There were a lot of verses lol well, like you say,no Internet so we had to find something to entertain us 😂

I've done this with that exact same word 😆 and sometimes I was on drugs, but I do it with all sorts of words, even to this day. And, yes, indeed... it is stupid 😌
