Philosophy
A moderated historical philosophy group. Dedicated to historical figures.

Such as:

Pythagoras,
Confucius
Socrates,
Plato,
Aristotle,
Descartes,
Nietzsche,
Marx,
Bacon

and thousands of others.

Please keep this to historical philosophers and their various philosophies.

Interesting how none of the early Christians were considered as such or am i missing something?

@Tastyfrzz I exclude ANYTHING that has any deity's!

If you read the thread @bijouxbroussard started you will see exactly what I meant! I exclude a whole bunch including my own beliefs!

Even Sumerian beliefs were before the whole Abrahamic beliefs and I exclude them both as well!

Same with Hindu beliefs!

They ALL belong in religion category because of the deity factor!

@DeWayfarer Alan Watts is kind of a blend of everything. Ekhart Tolle is comforting.

As long as it doesn't refer to deities as the cause. Comfort in deities is not really a philosophy. It excludes thinking.

You think Buddha wasn't or still isn't a comfort to them?

Yet I exclude Buddhism.
