Philosophy
A moderated historical philosophy group. Dedicated to historical figures.

Such as:

Pythagoras,
Confucius
Socrates,
Plato,
Aristotle,
Descartes,
Nietzsche,
Marx,
Bacon

and thousands of others.

Please keep this to historical philosophers and their various philosophies.

As well as limit religious theologian philosophies. See my reply to @bijouxbroussard for a more detailed explanation below:

@bijouxbroussard Well. I can't say I am very familiar with him. But yes in a limited way. Yet I would like to limit the theologians. There's a lot of religious philosophers that would be better fitting in the religion groups.

Yes I know some consider Nietzsche and atheism a religion. Some even consider Confucius and Taoism a religion. Yet they rarely ever reference other religions deities, like Kierkegaard does with Christianity.

Same applies with Buddhism. It can be considered a philosophy just much as all the rest, yet even Buddhism references deities. Where Taoism even though it's a off branch of Buddhism has no reference to deities.

Believe me I am not being exclusive on this. I wouldn't put Wicca in the philosophy group either, if it actually had any philosophers. And it doesn't. Same with Pythagoras and the greek deities. He never mentioned them.

I'm writing all this to make it clear to everyone. Religion, all religions, have their own separate category.

I must as well note that the philosophy group in the science and technology group is totally out of place.

Why the heck they put it there, I have no idea.

In addition, while there is that philosophy group as well, this topic really should moderated. Just to keep unfriendlies out that will cause religious confusion.
