If you had family history of an untreatable disease that you had 50% probability of inheriting but it typically sets on later at like 40 years old

would you get tested? Why or why not?

If I was a young un I wouldn't get tested unless I was planning on having kids.

@AntisocialTroll yeah I think the same too, but maybe I also would in order to make sure I visit the right doctors and collect money for all the things I'd need in case I developed it, plus I think it'd be a reminder to do some things for myself as long as I'd have the chance cause there's no going back.
