If you had family history of an untreatable disease that you had 50% probability of inheriting but it typically sets on later at like 40 years old

would you get tested? Why or why not?

@HannibalAteMeOut What's the point? Unless you can do something very early to boost your chances, but it wasn't in the original input, there's no point at all in knowing earlier than it'll manifest, it'll only add unnecessary stress.

@HannibalAteMeOut At that point I may want to know if I could get disabled and/or in a coffin anytime soon, and if so, stress even less about the futile things. But earlier on, it would make no difference.
