@Englishadverbs Have not been to Scotland .. but tell them about it? Its hardly unheard of. Scots fought w England for centuries, including some that came here in the Revolutionary War. Parts of the homesteads of some of their descendants in the early 1800s are still held by some of my family.

I watched a video about it once.. some town clocks ran on air pressure others were wound up and grandfather type clocks ran on momentum of the swinging pendants or whatever those things are called
