I don't know about presidents, but I know Martin Luther King Jr.
He did not exactly have the best interest in white people or their lives. That can also be racist, you know. The other way round. Just sayin.

@nobodyishome actually met MLK and disagree with you on this.
Adrift · 61-69, F
@TheShanachie Thats really cool. When did you meet him?
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@TheShanachie Tell me more about it :)
@nobodyishome clearly, you never read what he said.
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@RockerDad And what would that be
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
And why are you getting your nose into this
bijouxbroussard · F
@nobodyishome You know nothing about him or the times in which he lived if you believe that. He wanted blacks to have equal rights. He never advocated taking away the rights that white people already possessed.
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@bijouxbroussard Okayy, so when you're supporting and vouching for blacks. Does that not mean...?
@nobodyishome he said people should be judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Doesn’t sound racist to me. And why are YOU getting your nose in it?
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@RockerDad That's exactly what I'm trying to say
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
He said people should be judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
@nobodyishome I think you should re-read what you said.
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@RockerDad Could you rephrase it? Thanks.
@nobodyishome you stated that MLK was somehow racist. Defend your point.
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@RockerDad My point was, that, there are good people and there are bad people. Period.
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
Not even that actually, nothing in the world is bad as such. It's a matter of perception.
@nobodyishome trust me, there absolutely is a such thing as bad people who do bad things. We are living in a time when it should be really obvious.
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@RockerDad Like I 'obviously' said before, its a matter of perception. You cannot force what I think or see.
bijouxbroussard · F
@nobodyishome You need to educate yourself about US history and the Civil Rights movement. When you help one group of people obtain the rights that another group already has, how is that harming the group who already has those rights ? 🤨
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@bijouxbroussard We are not talking about rights, are we? We are talking about being racist. According to me, only supporting your own race is also being racist. Like, I was born in a Muslim family, but I am not like that.
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
Now, if I start 'supporting' my own 'race', I would be called a terrorist, won't I?
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
Especially, in America. Don't get me started.
bijouxbroussard · F
@nobodyishome No, you brought up Martin Luther King, Jr. And he lived in a time with blacks were legally excluded from having equal rights to whites. This is a big part of what he fought to correct. This is why I say it doesn’t seem you really know what was going on back then. It was totally about equal rights.
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@bijouxbroussard That's my point.
