@nobodyishome You know nothing about him or the times in which he lived if you believe that. He wanted blacks to have equal rights. He never advocated taking away the rights that white people already possessed.

Not even that actually, nothing in the world is bad as such. It's a matter of perception.

@bijouxbroussard We are not talking about rights, are we? We are talking about being racist. According to me, only supporting your own race is also being racist. Like, I was born in a Muslim family, but I am not like that.

Now, if I start 'supporting' my own 'race', I would be called a terrorist, won't I?

@nobodyishome No, you brought up Martin Luther King, Jr. And he lived in a time with blacks were legally excluded from having equal rights to whites. This is a big part of what he fought to correct. This is why I say it doesn’t seem you really know what was going on back then. It was totally about equal rights.
