Did Egyptians specifically copy the Sumerians in architecture?

The earliest Egyptian cultures were about 500 years younger than Sumer so it's very possible.

Many styles from other, nearby people are represented in Egyptian architecture.

All of the Middle Eastern, Mediterranian, and North African, cultures copied each other one way or another, specially they myths and legends.
