WW2 ship & sub

In Galveston Texas. Here you can tour a ship & sub that fought in WW2. The sub in the photo sank one of the Japanese ships that attacked Pearl Harbor. No negative comments please

We were there a year and a half ago and I missed it. I never knew it was there. I would have loved to have seen it. Now we have been to Charleston SC and toured the aircraft carrier the Yorktown. They had a WWII submarine too. I found it fascinating. I can tell you there definitely is not as much room on one as they make it look in the movies.
@Musicman Ah, Saint Raygun, explains why I never watched it.

@Roundandroundwego If they forget what World War Two was fought to defeat, and ignore the gigantic death tolls and destruction on all sides.

Although a military museum is very interesting for the military and engineering developments it shows, it should also be as much as memorial to the dead as a display of historical objects. I believe the sunken hull of one of the USN ships still in Pearl Harbor is indeed that as a memorial.
