Apparently your school didn't teach you anything either because Abraham Lincoln didn't end slavery. The Emancipation Proclamation didn't end slavery. It only set slaves free in certain Confederate states. Slavery was abolished under the 13th amendment, which was ratified by Congress not the president.

Abraham Lincoln wanted to send all black people back to Africa.

@Justice4All People use that to attack Lincoln, but the fact of the matter is, at that time, most slaves in the US were still either abducted from Africa or first generation descendants of abductees. It actually wasn't that bad of an idea in the 1860s. Lincoln even went so far as to plan for a free and independent nation for them to live in.
