Did you know that the Algerian 🇩🇿 national anthem was written in a prison cell during French colonization of Algeria ?

In fact France is mentioned in the anthem of Algeria:

My country’s national anthem is not like that though but you are right when it comes to national anthems
most countries are like that 🤣
But what I meant is that I’ll not blame countries like Algeria for their national anthem
because clearly their national anthem stems from oppression and colonialism
therefore I have no problem with it
Nor do I view it to be a call for violence
