Initially religious intolerance and later due to ultranationalism and "scientific" racism.

Jewish people aren't the only ones to experience this. Armenians and Assyrians have faced the same. So do the Yezidi.

@bijouxbroussard very much so. In fact, if we're going to be honest, while it's really hard to measure human misery on a scale, the slave trade, colonialism, genocide, imperialism and Apartheid means Africans have probably suffered the most. At least based on race. Native Americans might come close.
