during the third crusade :
King Saladin vs Richard the first of England (with aid of king Philip second of france )
Richards army came to take Jerusalem but he couldn’t beat the Muslims and were exhausted therefore king Richard asked for help from king Saladin (who he initially came to fight ! ) and Saladin gladly sent them medical help and food!
Not even that but Saladin allowed Richard to retreat safely , conducted a peace treaty , and allowed Christians who are not citizens of Saladin’s kingdom even from Richard's kingdom to enter and leave safely on their Christian pilgrimage to their holy Jerusalem.
when we look at history, especially that of the companions of prophet Mohammed and of those Muslim generals closer to Mohammed’s time we see the real Islam and it’s tolerance , intelligence , and discipline.
Not that of intolerance , extremism, and chaos
