I support ❤️ 🇺🇦 Ukraine AND Russia 🇷🇺 ❤️

Does anyone actually understand Ukrainian and Russian history? Does anyone have the intellect to see it from Russia’s point of view? Just like the atomic bombing of Japan, The western world once again forces its agenda upon the east and expects it to obey. At least there’s some countries who make the stand for independence.

The whole Ukrainian war is a political whitewash of lies and self driven agendas. When has the west ever been given a detailed history of Ukraine? Where are the news features about Ukrainian history? Where is the education? The war is the result of western and eastern polarization. Guess what? That’s what happens when tolerances deteriorate and people stand up for their own selfish selves.

The world deserves this. It truly does and what has happened? Nothing but complete destruction. So well done, well done civilians for creating this situation, voting for Trump, voting for brexit, because there were some dumb idiots that hated something Ain Their lives and wanted to find someone or something to blame. This is what YOU have created.

War is the final frontier in this culture of intolerance. The final frontier of nazification, the suppression of voices but most of all the intolerance.

Russia is simply not attractive. It is an appalling country. Millions of people try to immigrate to America – who would choose Russia instead?
(a) Russia is not attractive politically – open and free discussions regarding the future of the country are oppressed, protesters will land in forced labor camps, sometimes for many years until they die of exhaustion.
(b) Russia is not attractive economically – all they do is exporting natural resources to feed their armed forces and their parasitic upper class. Life expectancy for men in Russia: 66years, Germany: 79years.
(c) Russia is not attractive culturally: authoritarian leaders are suffocating contemporary culture wherever they can.
==> Russia has allies only because it is has powerful armed forces.
@helenS Wow. You sound like Donald Trump. That is next level xenophobic nonsense.

Fun fact, the reason life expectancy in the FSU tanked in general was because they followed American economic advice that did more damage than Operation Barbarossa.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Oh I thought Mr. D.T. and "very smart genius" Mr. Putin are best friends? Donald and Vladi?
@helenS Well you basically just swapped out Mexicans for Russians. That is right up there with Trump calling all of Mexico rapists and drug dealers.

Guess American right wingers and liberals are not much different when it comes down to it.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow @helenS the world needs Putin, end of
@NestChicken I am no fan of Putin but this mess was the result of American imperial arrogance. George Kennan predicted this sort of thing would happen in 1997 long before Putin came to power and Yeltsin the drunk was in charge.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I did not insult Russian people in any way. What I said referred to the authoritarian Russian government, not Russian people. I have several friends in St Petersburg (from the days when I worked in the field of science), but communicating with them has become very difficult, as a result of the Russian fascist government activities.
@helenS Actually that is exactly what you did. You basically reduced the entire nation to a third world cliche.

Same as everyone cheering the sanctions blaming 140 million people for the actions of one man.

I mean you basically made it out to be like North Korea. This only helps people like Putin because it reinforces the narrative that this is all about hate for Russia. And is some regards he is not wrong on that.

I would not be surprised if we see internment camps given what people are calling for right now.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I think your reply would be more substantiated if you could tell me what was wrong in my characterization of Russia today: politically, economically, culturally?
@helenS Your entire post was a hit piece on the entire nation. It reads like a cold war cliche.

And FYI Russia takes in the 3rd largest number of immigrants in the world only behind the US and Germany.

So even your first point is not based on facts , just cold war tropes.

I noticed the other side in the conflict gets a blanket pass too which is interesting.

@Darksideinthenight2 Russia is the only country which can attack the USA catastrophically.

@Darksideinthenight2 The US Department of Defense says that only Russia is capable of destroying America in the sense that authorities in the US will no longer work.
And China depends more on the US than the USA depends on China, economically.
@Darksideinthenight2 If the US tried to pull the kind of sanctions they did with Russia on China Americans would learn real quick what Russia in the 90s was like.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow America would survive. iPhones would become much more expensive, but the American people would not starve. As opposed to the Chinese. Although that really would not be a problem, for the Chinese government. People died by the millions in the past, and the government went on.

@Darksideinthenight2 I have to admit I'm no expert. I just read some statements issued by the American Department of Defense.
