Have you seen Radium Girls

It’s based on a true story. It’s the kind of story every American should watch. It’s starts off rather slow. But it’s powerful.

Think I'll toss my Tritium watch!

Saw something much the same a while back. Tragic cases of illness and Phossy Jaw.
The abuse is shocking.

Reminds me of the trials of scientific discovery in series like Radioactive, the Madame Curie feature, and Cusack's Fat Man & Little Boy.
@Mindful Anything in the name of progress! Thank god for labor laws.

In someone's footlocker no doubt.
It's incredible what we sold. I knew a few GI supply and surplus shops that sell them. A number are indeed WWII, Vietnam era issue.
Look at Fiesta cookware even!

Yes and I loved the movie . It was shocking how the radium affected their jaws . It was gross when they had to lick the radium filled brush to make it pointy .

Not the movie, but three of the channels I watch on YouTube did pieces on the subject. Forget blood diamonds, we have radioactive blood clocks floating around out there!
