It's not a good indicator of the state of the economy. It's extremely poor indicator at that. And why the stock market increases.

GDP doesn't represent any USA PRODUCTION. It can't when the Economy is mostly based on ideas.

Shell's own profit was announced on the News here yesterday. I forget the number but my first thought was, "Yes, profiting from the war against Iran".
