Had to be before Bezos took over but suddenly they're just slamming my inbox with marketing and newsletters. 5 of them. Blocking each address individually is such a pain, cuz the Gmail unsubscribe button does diddly squat.

I dumped them but I'm 100% certain those marketing emails are an act of desperation. They're bleeding money. And it sucks because in the old days Wapo was the real deal. The reporters are still solid but having to ask yourself what the editors are allowing in changes the whole thing.
