Musk Is About To Launch SpaceX IPO

SpaceX bought xAI in February, tying both the communications and rocket businesses together.

Musk will retain 85.1% of the voting stock. His compensation could make him the first $Trillionaire even before he reaches his business goals. That would be creating the first Mars colony and creating space-based data centers powered by 100 terawatts of solar power.

Rumor has it that he's preparing his Mars colony using his Austin-area harem.

I hope he does go to Mars very soon and stops interfering in politics and other earthly affairs. I hope he doesn't turn out to be one of those very rich people who are always "threatening" to emigrate to Dubai or a similar tax haven, and never seem to get around to it.

I have always wondered, just how would the heat generated by AI data centers in space, would be removed, when we can't easily do so on Earth! 🤣

100 TW is 4 times the energy currently used on the whole world. That being 25 TW. 😈

@DeWayfarer Space placement has been considered from day1. Data centers were projected to use that kind of power, and there's no real solution for it on earth.

@Northwest Please. Even AI is saying 100 TW isn't possible today. That's pure science fiction even for out in space.

Kilometers of cooling vains would be required to just do 25 TW.
