@JSul3 Nothing of the sort is happening ,but I'll tell you what is happening in Virginia: which party proposes replacing the judges when the courts come to a decision that they don't agree with ?I don't think you need a hint to know who it is .

You're either very blind or ill informed. When states decide to redraw their district maps in an election year, in order to remove districts that the opposition party controls, so they can have total control of the state legislatures, that should be illegal and it certainly isn't ethical. These states are targeting minority districts, and diluting the power of their vote and representation.
You can't deny that.

@JSul3 I'm not the one who must be blind .It is obvious that is exactly what the Democrats were doing when they drew that map in Virginia.I believe it gave them a what ,10 - 1 advantage come election day ?Plus ,the legislature didn't use the correct legal process when pushing through the map.The state courts were right to strike it down ; I was pleasantly surprised at their common sense and fairness .As far as the Supreme Courts ruling in the voting rights act ,it does absolutely nothing to " keep black people from voting "; on the contrary ,it simply makes it illegal to draw up a voting district based solely it mainly on race .At that means ANY race - black ,white ,Hispanic ,etc .And that's as it should be .And I noticed that you haven't directly commented on the idea floated about replacing the State court judges .Yes ,they are floating the idea around .
