Anthropic Dials Back AI Safety Commitments

Anthropic had a deadline of Friday to submit to Defense Department demands over how its Claude tools are used after it told the Pentagon they couldn’t be used for domestic surveillance or autonomous lethal activities.

I thought the Pentagon does not have national jurisdiction.

Commander in chief does whatever he wants with the military now unfortunately. Those in the Pentagon are loyal to Trump.

Why Trump was so upset with the Congress members that said they shouldn't listen to anything illegal. He even said they are committing treason.
