What’s the biggest piece of propaganda you believed but later found out was not true?

Pretty much the whole of society and everything I was taught. How fake our institutions are especially universities. How the filthy banking organizations run things behind the scenes. How easy it would be to put a stop to it if people knew what was going on. Lots of things.
