House approves Epstein files bill in near-unanimous vote.

427-1.

The legislation is now on track toward the desk of President Donald Trump, who spent months trying to kill it.

The 427-1 vote came after a long campaign to circumvent House Republican leaders and White House officials who fought tooth and nail to convince members of their party to oppose the measure. As Democrats sought to stoke division in the GOP over the administration’s decision to withhold further information in the Epstein case, the issue proved increasingly toxic for Republicans — and Tuesday’s vote became inevitable.

Only Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.), a fervent Trump loyalist, voted against it. Victims of Epstein who had gathered in the House gallery cheered as the vote closed.

It's funny seeing how genuinely shook Trump is over this 😂 It was something they campaigned on but didn't think they were actually going to have to do. Things come and bite you in the ass that way sometimes.

I'm just worried what gets released is heavily redacted. The bill allows Pam Bondi to censor whatever information she wants, effectively. That part isn't really being reported on.

@WestonTexan Now they have an army of winged monkey going through those files blacking out trumps name wherever it occurs. "Because he was not a public figure". Like we cant assume every blacked out name is Trump..😷

@WestonTexan The twisted logic of TDS afflicted minds is always humorous.

@wildland This is another example of Democrats being unable to meme. A good meme requires a strong basis in reality, which just isn't there. ^^^^^/FAIL/

@IronHamster This is another example of Republicans creating their own reality, which then becomes the basis of their fealty to King Trump. He wants to shrink the size of government? And you think that's contradicted by No Kings? 🤣
