House approves Epstein files bill in near-unanimous vote.

427-1.

The legislation is now on track toward the desk of President Donald Trump, who spent months trying to kill it.

The 427-1 vote came after a long campaign to circumvent House Republican leaders and White House officials who fought tooth and nail to convince members of their party to oppose the measure. As Democrats sought to stoke division in the GOP over the administration’s decision to withhold further information in the Epstein case, the issue proved increasingly toxic for Republicans — and Tuesday’s vote became inevitable.

Only Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.), a fervent Trump loyalist, voted against it. Victims of Epstein who had gathered in the House gallery cheered as the vote closed.

The Republicans should be very proud of themselves today. They have been fighting so hard to get this information released and they finally succeeded.

@MoveAlong
Here's the "fine print".... they're only releasing the unclassified info.

@JSul3 Very convenient since the president has the authority to classify documents. That's ok. The more he tries to hide the greater the pushback will be.

@MoveAlong We need an "Anonymous" to drop every single FBI file to the media.

Does anyone have these unredacted and complete files?
MoveAlong · 70-79, M
@JSul3 I don't know but it's a pretty sure bet that it won't all be coming out anytime soon.

@JSul3 Yes. The unredacted files are with the FBI and the justice department. So the public wont see them under the current administration. And maybe not under the next. Epstein didnt just rely on name brands. There was a raft of second tier people in his pocket at the state level to grease the wheels..And in America, money trumps politics on both sides..😷
