Pentagon press policy

@hippyjoe1955 they aren’t breaking the First Amendment if they just say don’t come in to the press room. They are basically saying that you will have to get your report elsewhere. It is not a right for the press to be there it is a privilege. Although it will not be deemed transparent and it would cause more misinformation. They( the reporters might cry enough about the first amendment) then the White House could just make fewer updates or limit the information. Me I am against the policy. It would be simpler to just not say it if you don’t want them to report on it.
Maybe they are tired of journalists putting an anti Trump spin in the info that they are given.

@specman we will leave that for the courts to decide.

@dirge I’m really not sure why there doing this. Maybe some outlets put a spin on what they say and focus on their anti Trump agenda.
