When An Administration Fails
The realm of reality we are in today far surpasses any previous norms of governance by past Administrations. Never before in Americas 250th year history has this nation been subjected to the horridness assault on our founding principles of Education, Morality, Justice, and our Liberties. We always have to remind ourselves that to keep our democratic republic strong and flourishing requires the citizens be an educated and participating in the democratic process. In the 2024 Presidential election when over 80 million Americans failed to participate in the democratic process has set the stage for Americas decline, as we are witnessing today by the actions and reactions of Trump and the rest of his MAGA republican followers.
When you have millions forfeiting their Constitutional right either out of ignorance, apathy, or indifference leaves the quintessential threat to the United States. Now the country is under assault by a want-a-be authoritarian convert narcissistic con-man. Adding more fuel to the flames of America's demise are many members of Congress, those MAGA republicans and two thirds of the Supreme Court.
When these institutions refuse to uphold a code of ethics, the audaciousness of the many impeachable offenses of Trump, long standing court rulings [ the Sherman Anti Trust Act ] and blatant subversion of our Constitution have simultaneously rendered the United States incapable of meeting the needs of our citizens let alone our allies.
The abuses of power by the Trump Administration of the past 9 months have opened up gapping holes in our economy, a dismal financial future for millions of Americans and jeopardized the stability of the entire world. Now as the world tumbles toward a conclusion far removed from the hopes and dreams of millions all around the world that shinning light, that beacon of hope that was once the United States now lies dormant by the audaciousness and incompetence of a want-a-be dictator.
Now the question is can the US recover from the collateral damage inflicted upon America and the rest of the world from the past 9 months of sheer gross incompetent stewardship? We have become a nation incapable of returning to that become of hope, that shining light we were from the 1940's thru till the early 1970's. This is where history plays a vital role in securing Americas future. That old quote of if we fail to learn from history, we will always repeat mistakes made only now with more devastating results holds true today.
The time is now to evoke what Thomas Jefferson warned us about in the first two paragraphs of The Declaration of Independence. It is our right and obligation to restore our government to one of by the people and for the people and not run by a want-a-be dictator which Trump has become.
