Life without the possibility of parole

I believe if Erika Kirk wants to assure that Charlie’s assassin NEVER forgets his cowardly criminal act. Everyday 7 days a week 365 days a year for the rest of his life the exact moment he pulled the trigger he should write on a chalkboard “ I killed Charlie Kirk “ 100 times and read aloud 4 chapters of the Bible beginning with Genesis

Just imagine his soul being saved which is what Charlie preached and what he would want Who else might be saved in prison?

When my husband was killed by a drunk driver the death penalty or life wasn’t an option He could only receive 10 years which meant he would only spend 5 in prison. I too was a young widow I was 25 years old

I spent more than 2 years being so angry and full of hate. I remarried 3 years later but before I did I knew that I had to forgive him because I realized that my husband did the moment it happened. I accepted the fact that he didn’t want to leave where he was

When I was asked if I thought he received a just sentence and I always said “ of course not “
When I chose to forgive him I had come to the conclusion “what is a just sentence “? Death was to good because then he wouldn’t have to take responsibility but my suffering would continue for the rest of my life. Life isn’t long enough. So when I forgave him I requested to go to the prison and I told him that I hoped knowing that there was no longer a ( my husband’s name ) in the world and he is responsible. I told him I hoped that I would never remember what he looked like and I didn’t and I told him if he was ever arrested again that I would be there and I was. Killing my husband didn’t keep him from drinking and driving and my families presence helped ensure that he received 15 years

Forgiveness ultimately will happen but anger and grief most likely will happen first. Erika and their families and friends ARE entitled to all of the emotions they feel

God, have mercy on Tyler Robinson’s soul. He is probably the most despised man in the country today

God please hold Erika and their precious children and their families in your hands and allow them to feel our arms around them

Charlie was a man of peace and love, and spoke in the name of our savior, Jesus Christ, when he said that trans people are "throbbing middle finger to God.”

And lest we forget his loving words when he said "We need to have a Nuremberg-style trial for every gender-affirming clinic doctor.”

I could go on, in the name of Jesus.

It is true that he will probably spend life in prison BUT, he is probably going to be a celebrity in there.

For Kirk family - everyone acts like they feel so bad for them but who is to say his wife and kids are not relieved that they do not have to put up with him? His wife was probably getting pounded by her B/F's BBC that very night.

very well said

The death penalty is itself premeditated murder, with the government given 10+ years to meditate over it.

In general, I think mercy, isolation and and the expectation of some form of restitution would be more likely to serve the need for justice than punishment does.

This was not a lone wolf act.
This was a group of people behind this.
Kirk was and is being used as a political prop.
Now they are gonna try and immortalize
him for the wrong reasons.
Pushing authoritarianism... nationalism...and extremism. Radicals will rise up and soon the country will be in a modern day civil war.
There is more to come.
You shall see. 👀

@Zonuss I’m curious . What you believe he has ever said that is untrue? Racist? Faster. ?
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@missyann The statement he made about the Black airplane pilot. That was very unnecessary.

@Zonuss so you pick one thing that he said you didn’t like , but don’t dispute anything else, so I just blew holes in your whole argument

@lissah Omg I am so sorry. I cannot imagine the pain that you feel.

I do understand you not being able to forgive, but it was eating me up. I was also hurt in the crash and was unable to go to the funeral. It may have not been premeditated, but it was intentional when he made the choice to drink and drive I broke countless plates and glasses on a wall that had to be patched. Are used to ask to cuddle on a tree every time I thought about it until I chopped it down

In order for me to start a new life this is just what I had to do

The only reason I’m against the death penalty is because it ends their suffering
Because of his lifestyle, Because of the lifestyle he was living. I imagine his life in prison is going to be rape for the rest of his life, which is what he deserves

Charlie preached love ❤
4meAndyou · F
@masterofyou Yes, he did. His wife has already forgiven his murderer...because she said she wants to be able to join Charlie in heaven after she dies.
masterofyou · 70-79, M
@4meAndyou I'm sure by faith she will, but pray for her safety while she carries the torch, journey, and mission forward....🙏🙏🙏

Most despised man in the country? Aren't you forgetting someone?
SpudMuffin · 61-69, M
@RosaMarie I wonder where that will get them?

@RosaMarie Versus the death penalty. The death penalty means his suffering will end. I didn’t say he had to believe it. After bible reading he can read the quran satanic Bible curious George goes to prison whatever he wants

Punishment isn’t meant to be comfortable for a prisoner. He lost his freedom the moment he pulled the trigger He will not choose for himself ever again

The victims deserve the compassion and comfort not Tyler

@missyann I am so sorry you don't understand what Charlie Kirk was all about. He was the ultimate Christian.

He would have forgiven his own killer, and, just like Jesus Christ, he would not have wanted there to be endless suffering. That is why Jesus came to us...so that WE...the human race...would not be condemned to endless suffering.
missyann · 56-60
@4meAndyou You are right when you say he wouldn’t want endless suffering
But don’t you think there’s more of a chance for him to become a Christian and to be saved by reading the words every day? I know that Charlie would want him to be saved.

I suppose these are two different ways of looking at it

@jshm2 Yawn 🥱
I have told people to go to hell, but I will never say someone is going to burn in hell. That is dangerous territory that I do not tread on.
