What's the world coming to?

Democrats hold vigil for Jimmy Kimmel because he was taken of the air, but they spew nothing but hatred for Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk spoke the truth, was peaceful speaking family man with moral values who was assassinated.
Kimmel is a TV host, is still alive and breathing and will continue to spread the democrats hateful ways.

45 Years Later: Beverly Ann Ibn-Tamas’ Journey to Justice and Freedom
September 29, 2023
By Cindene Pezzell, Esq.

Instead of help, Beverly Ann Ibn-Tamas got prison time. It took 45 years for her to get justice.

For years, Ms. Ibn-Tamas was beaten and terrorized by her husband. In 1976, she was forced to defend herself against another attack, using the firearm her abuser held to her head only moments before.

She was convicted of second-degree murder by a jury that was not permitted to hear crucial expert testimony about the impact of intimate partner violence. Instead, the prosecutor used harmful myths and stereotypes about domestic violence to convince the jury to convict. Ms. Ibn-Tamas got locked up for protecting her own life.

Ms. Tamas survived beatings, asphyxiation, endangered pregnancies, and endless trauma. And then she was forced to survive prison. And survive she did. After her release, Ms. Ibn-Tamas went on to raise her family and pursue a very successful career as a nursing director.

In December 2022 – 45 years after her conviction - President Joe Biden granted an unconditional pardon to Ms. Ibn-Tamas. While we continue to celebrate this important act of justice, we must also continue to fight for those who risk criminalization just by surviving.

A vigil. You Americans accept that? That's your political opposition to a coup?

@JSul3 It is not a violation of the first amendment. He is not being arrested for speaking his mind. He is being punished for lawsuits of slander. The company was given an ultimatum for what he said. They can have the lawsuit reach the company itself. Or fire him. Any smart company would fire the person instead of taking on a lawsuit like that. He can still be sued personally for his statements.

You know absolutely NOTHING about the law and our constitutional rights. Freedom of speech doesn’t not mean freedom of consequences. And freedom of speech does not cover grotesque lies and misinformation. When he decided to be foolish enough to say that a known leftist lgbtq+ murderer, with a tranny lover, open and outward hatred for the politics opposite of the right, and an extreme furry fetish. And Kimmel attempted to lie about these facts and instead say Charlie Kirk was killed by one of his own. This is not covered by freedom of speech. It is slander. It is a lie.

And anyone stupid enough to try and hold a “vigil” just proves how out of touch with reality they are.

Learn the law before you open your mouth. You’re not intelligent and it’s embarrassing to see you walk around pretending to be so.

@AuRevoir The government has no right to censor freedom of speech.

Ted Cruz rips FCC chair's Jimmy Kimmel threat as 'unbelievably dangerous'

Sept. 19, 2025, 4:41 PM CDT
By Frank Thorp V and Dareh Gregorian/NBC News

WASHINGTON — Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, blasted Federal Communications Commission Chair Brendan Carr on Friday for threats he made this week related to Jimmy Kimmel's show, calling the Trump administration official's actions "dangerous as hell."

“I think it is unbelievably dangerous for government to put itself in the position of saying we’re going to decide what speech we like and what we don’t, and we’re going to threaten to take you off air if we don’t like what you’re saying,” Cruz said on his podcast, "Verdict with Ted Cruz."

“I like Brendan Carr. He’s a good guy, he’s the chairman of the FCC. I work closely with him, but what he said there is dangerous as hell,” Cruz said.
